Cayenne Your Way: The Electric Cayenne Arrives at McKenna Porsche

There are product launches, and then there are moments. When the all-new Porsche Cayenne Electric rolled onto our showroom floor, it was clearly the second kind.

We opened the doors at McKenna Porsche to our clients, our neighbors, and a lot of very curious Porsche enthusiasts to celebrate the arrival of the most powerful production Porsche ever built. And yes, it’s an SUV. And yes, it’s fully electric.

First impressions, up close

Photos don’t do it justice, and the reactions in the room proved it. Guests circled the car, crouched to study the wheels, and lingered at the rear, where a full-width light bar stretches across the tailgate and glows like a signature.

The silhouette is unmistakably Cayenne: confident stance, muscular shoulders, that familiar presence in a parking lot. But every line has been sharpened for an electric future. It looks fast standing still, which is exactly what you want from a Porsche.

One guest showed up wearing a 911 tee, and honestly, that summed up the afternoon. This is a car built by the same people, with the same obsession, for a new kind of driver.

The numbers that had everyone talking

Once people got past the looks, the conversation turned to performance. Here’s what had heads shaking in disbelief:

• Up to 1,139 horsepower in the Cayenne Turbo Electric with Launch Control, making it the most powerful series-production Porsche to date.

• 0–60 mph in as little as 2.4 seconds. In an SUV that seats five and tows up to 7,716 lbs when properly equipped.

• An 800-volt architecture and 113 kWh battery, able to charge from 10–80% in about 16 minutes at a high-power DC station.

• Available wireless charging. Park over a pad in your garage floor and it charges, no cable required.

The best part of an event like this is the conversations. Our Porsche Brand Ambassadors spent the afternoon walking guests through everything from home charging setups to how the three trims compare. Plenty of guests pulled out their phones to start building their own spec right there on the floor.

The most common question we heard? “How does it drive?” Our answer: come find out for yourself.

Good food, good company

Of course, no McKenna event is complete without great hospitality. Guests enjoyed a catered spread while they mingled in the showroom, swapped stories about their own Porsches, and talked about which Cayenne Electric configuration they’d choose.
